About Molly Bloom

Molly Bloom is the co-creator and host of award-winning podcasts Brains On and Smash Boom Best. She is also co-founder of Brains On Universe, an independent media company for kids and curious adults. With Brains On Universe, Molly has produced the podcasts Forever Ago, Moment of Um, as well as live shows and books.

About Dr. Cara Natterson

Dr. Cara Natterson is a pediatrician, speaker, educator, and leading voice in tween + teen health. She graduated from Harvard college + Johns Hopkins Medical School, and trained in pediatrics at UCSF. Cara launched her career at Tenth Street Pediatrics in Santa Monica. She traded patient care for writing, and has authored 10 books including the New York Times bestselling The Care and Keeping of You series with American Girl. In 2020, Cara founded the first company aimed at making the tween + teen years more comfortable, starting with physical products. Over the next 5 years, she partnered with Vanessa Kroll Bennett to create content channels across social media, a podcast called This Is So Awkward (which has 2.5M downloads to date), a growing library of books, and most recently a digital, school-based K-12 health + wellness curriculum that’s not even 2 years old but already used by schools in 8 states and internationally. It’s all in service to her mission––which is, conveniently, also the name of her company: Less Awkward.

About Dr. Christopher Miller

Dr. Christopher Miller is a clinical psychologist and the founder of The Boys’ Institute for Growth (BIG). Since 1999, he has supported children, teens, and families throughout Southern California, specializing in behavioral and solution-focused therapies. In addition to his clinical private practice, Dr. Miller developed and runs The BIG Talks for Boys program, which educates boys about puberty and reproduction, encourages and facilitates ongoing and healthy conversations between boys and their trusted adults about these topics as they mature, and supports and educates parents how to have helpful, comfortable, and ongoing conversations with their sons. The overarching goal of the BIG Talks for Boys program is twofold: to educate and empower boys with relevant, medically-accurate information and to lay the groundwork for ongoing conversations between boys and their trusted adults as the boys develop and navigate their way through adolescence.
