‘Bosch’ Final Season - An AirTalk Virtual Event
The cast and creators of Amazon’s hit series Bosch are celebrating the show’s final season...and you just might hear a familiar voice on it.
Since its launch in 2014, the Emmy-nominated Bosch has hooked fans with its compelling narratives, complex characters, and effective use of Los Angeles as both a setting and a character. That aspect of its production gives it special meaning to fans of the show from L.A., like fourth generation Angeleno Larry Mantle, who has been following the show since it began. From Bosch’s glass-windowed bachelor pad precariously perched atop stilts in the Hollywood Hills to solving a murder on Angel’s Flight to Bosch’s perpetual love affair with Musso & Frank and L.A.’s jazz club scene, the City of Angels and many of its iconic locations and landscapes just need a pulse to be credited characters on the series.
This summer, Amazon will release the seventh and final season of Bosch, and if you’re a regular viewer of the show, you just might hear a familiar radio voice while you’re watching this season. That’s right -- Larry Mantle is on the radio...on TV! (Well, technically on a streaming platform but you get the idea.) Earlier this year, Amazon approached Larry to see if he’d like to do a voice cameo on the radio during an episode of Bosch, an offer he gladly accepted.
On June 21, Larry and members of the Bosch team - including Bosch himself, Titus Welliver - celebrated the upcoming release of the show’s final season, explored its deep connections to Los Angeles and how the city plays a role in the show, plus we got a special sneak preview of Larry’s radio cameo and a few other scenes from the new season!
