This is a true treat – and a deep cut – for all you super film nerds out there. The Academy Museum is highlighting British filmmaking in collaboration with the British Film Institute and will show early 20th-century experimental filmmakers The Archers’ (Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger) Black Narcissus (1947) in a rare 35mm nitrate film presentation. Editor and frequent Martin Scorcese collaborator Thelma Schoonmaker will join for a Q&A.
