Writer and academic Taj Frazier and artist Ben Caldwell sign and discuss their new book, KAOS Theory: The Afrokosmic Ark of Ben Caldwell. They'll be interviewed by hip-hop artist Myka 9, who also recently released his biography, My Kaleidoscope. KAOS Theory: The Afrokosmic Ark of Ben Caldwell (Angel City Press) is the first book to recount Caldwell's KAOS Network, the famed media arts center founded in Leimert Park nearly 40 years ago. Through illustrations, archival media and storytelling, the book shows how Caldwell's life centered around the power of community and the use of art and media as a social force. All ages.
