We brief you on what you need to know about L.A. today.

Now an update on a story we've been following: megaloads.

These massive shipments have been a source of controversy in Idaho and Montana. In order to get oil refining equipment up to Canada, shippers take these 747-sized loads through scenic backroads.

But locals say these shipments threaten the environment, and are so big that they block routes in and out of their community.

The next megaload was supposed to be shipped today, but that's been put on hold. Joining us again is environmental reporter Rocky Barker from the Idaho Statesman.
