
Jason Rodriguez
Jason Rodriguez is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he was an Editor and Producer on the school’s podcast SAIC Beat. After graduating, he interned at the American Geophysical Union where he worked on their sci-comm podcasts focusing on space and geophysical research—an experience that grew into him hosting conversations with NASA scientists for AGU’s Narratives initiative. This past spring, he interned at SiriusXM Earwolf where he supported the creative producing team on podcasts that dove in-depth into pop culture, comedy, politics, and film.
Alongside his work in audio, he writes and produces short films. Most recently, he produced the sci-fi/queer stop-motion short Mother Bunker which was showcased in international film festivals such as the Ann Arbor Film Festival and Outfest, and was programmed in the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art’s Australian animation retrospective.
