Zayra Please Don't Go...
Dear Zayra,
LAist wanted to drop you a line and apologize for the Zayra hating we've done over the past few weeks. Dilana doesn't hold a candle to you. We'd like to say that we were wrong about your take on "All the Young Dudes" and "867-5309/Jenny". We admit that we were a bit jealous of your fashion sense. We absolutely loved, loved, loved your outfits. Especially the trapeze artist/cape thingy.
Last night, girl, you were da bomb. Even though we didn't understand a word of your song (no entiendo Español muy bien), the Carmen Miranda skirt was hot.
Good luck tonight, Zayra. Please don't leave Supernova. Or us. Ever.
Love,
LAist
p.s. A little reverse psychology never hurt now, did it?
