No Glove, No Love: Hustler Video Fined for Not Using Condoms
Someone in California has the taxing job of visiting porn sets to make sure that condoms are being used -- and last September, they witnessed performers going bareback.
Now, Hustler Video is being fined $14,175 for the incident, which violated certain workplace safety laws. According to the Daily News:
Hustler "failed to ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment, such as condoms" to protect its employees from semen, vaginal excretions and blood in the course of producing adult videos..."
Cal/OSHA Senior Safety Engineer Deborah Gold told the paper that if performers are having sex, it should either be simulated or protected.
