The Magic Numbers, "Crazy in Love"

The Magic Numbers are in town which is always a good thing. This morning they visit Nic Harcourt at KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic where they will perform songs from their two records, and hopefully bust with that Beyoncé tune that they did for this year's KCRW's Sounds Eclectic - The Covers Project.

The fact that that tune is our favorite cut from the album, which you might have seen in your local Starbucks, is inconsequential to the fact that we have a pair of tickets for tonight's show at the El Rey that we are required by law to give to you. It's a new law. It's a nice law. It's magical law.

To enter this giveaway, tell us what has been your favorite LAist post of the summer so far. Only registered commentors will be considered. If you're not registered, get to it, it only takes seconds, and like Mr. K's oath, signing up to comment here will change your life in magical ways.

Because the show is tonight, the contest ends at 2:22 pm so dig through the archives and tell us the story you liked the most. One random winner will be contacted this afternoon at 2:30pm, so when you register, make sure you sign up with an email addy that you check during the daytime. If we don't get a response back from the winner by 3pm, we will email someone else. Good luck!
