Whitney Houston's Daughter Bobbi Kristina Rushed to Hospital After Suffering 'Complete Breakdown' [UPDATED]
Whitney Houston's 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown collapsed and was rushed out of the Beverly Hilton last night when she tried to return to the fourth floor room where her mother died.
A source told People that Brown had been in the lobby of the hotel yesterday afternoon around the time that Houston's lifeless body was discovered in a bathtub. A source told People, "[Bobbi Kristina] was screaming, 'What's wrong with her? What's wrong with her?"
TMZ reported that the only daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown tried to return to the Beverly Hilton later so that she could see her mother: she reportedly got into a screaming match when police wouldn't let her go to the fourth floor room where Houston was found. Later that evening a source told People that Brown was rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical Center around 11pm "because she was having a complete breakdown." The Hilton was hosting Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party at the same time—without Davis.
Houston's on-again, off-again boyfriend Ray J was also turned away by police when he rushed to the Hilton to see Houston, TMZ reported.
In Bobby Brown's first statement after Houston's death, he asked that his daughter be left alone: “At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi Kristina. I appreciate all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time.”
UPDATED: Brown was rushed to the hospital again this morning around 10 am for the same reason that she ended up at Cedars-Sinai: stress and anxiety. (And who could blame her?!!) She's was medically cleared and released this afternoon, according to People and OnTheRedCarpet.com. Her father is skipping scheduled upcoming concerts to be with his daughter, TMZ said.
