A young man was found beaten to death last night in Historic Filipino Town.A Hispanic man in his 20s was found dead by L.A. City Fire Department paramedics last night at about 10 p.m. near North Union Avenue and Rockwood Street, City News Service reports. Investigators say he was bludgeoned and may have been alone when he was attacked, according to KTLA.

The roads surrounding the area were closed while police investigated, but were opened again before 5 a.m. this morning.
