LAist was at Dodger Stadium last night as the Blue Crew finally beat the Giants 2-1.Jayson Werth continues to make a strong impression on LAist with his speed, athleticism, and timely power. Werth homered and scored both runs for the Dodgers, accounting for half of the Dodger hits off of rookie Nate Lowry. Eric Gagne added another one to his DiMaggio-esque 82 consecutive save streak.
With Werth hitting well every time he starts, LAist wonders if he could be used more often to spell Juan Encarnacion in right field.
