As of noon, the National Weather Service is reporting numbers that basically say "get thee to a beach!" Here's the breakdown:

  • Downtown LA: 93
  • Marina del Rey: 70
  • Southbay Beaches: 73
  • Santa Monica Airport: 83
  • Long Beach: 80
  • Burbank: 94
  • Van Nuys: 95
  • Granada Hills: 91
  • Woodland Hills: 95
  • Santa Clarita: 95
  • Lancaster/Palmdale: 88/87
  • Fullerton: 91
  • Palm Springs: 102
  • San Diego: 76

Temperatures will continue to cool down tomorrow and more drastically on Thursday. By the weekend, expect it to get below 70 across the region.
