We've all heard about the California roll, but this takes it to the next level. All things considered, it's pretty amazing nobody got hurt when a small plane made an emergency landing through a busy intersection in Irvine last Wednesday. And one guy recorded the wild incident on his dashcam for posterity.

In the video, you can see a plane land on Red Hill Avenue near John Wayne Airport during rush hour. As the plane's wheels screech down the street, you can hear a man in the video say in disbelief, "You kidding me?" When he turns the corner, we can see the plane parked in a lane by that point, and hear the man recording the video bursts out laughing.

The plane, which was carrying an instructor and student pilot from Orange Coast College (OCC), was also undamaged in the landing. "The plane wasn't high enough to be able to land back on the air strip it had just taken off from and was forced to land on the nearest open space," Daniel Schrader, OCC dean of Technology told the school's newspaper, Coast Report Online.

On another note, the student pilot, who was flying out that day for the first time as part of the OCC Aviation Pilot Training, felt the ride was exhilarating and can't wait to fly again. Hopefully, things will go better the next go around.
