A man and a woman were wounded early Sunday morning in a drive-by shooting in Silver Lake.Around 2:30 a.m., the two individuals were crossing the street near the intersection of Silver Lake Boulevard and Glendale Boulevard when shots were fired from a passing car. Both victims were hit in the legs and their injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to The Eastsider.

At the moment, police don't have any suspects in the shooting, but believe the shooters may have been gang members. Their victims, however, are not believed to be gang members. "We are still trying to piece it together," Detective Larry Burcher of the LAPD told The Eastsider.

Paramedics treated both victims in the parking lot of the nearby Citibank. The site of the shooting is just down the street from an area known for its nightlife, with Red Lion Tavern and Cha Cha Lounge about a block away.
