It's a big day for Twi-hards! Hollywood rolled out the red carpet (and the street closures, grrr) to make way for a trio of new hand and foot prints and signatures set in cement outside the historic Chinese Theatre.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were there to leave their mark on Hollywood history amidst their celebrated predecessors. Fans came from around the world today to soak in the dizzying excitement. Team Jacob! Team Edward!

If you thought you heard prolonged high-pitched squeals and screams carried on the breeze to your part of town today, it's entirely possible the mob of teenage girls hardcore fans had just that much vocal power.

Those who were there in person by choice or by happenstance have been posting pictures of the morning event online, and we couldn't resist sharing. Feel free to gag or swoon as you see fit. Not surprisingly, the next film in the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn - Part 1, will be released November 18.
