TV Junkie: Wednesday Picks
Introducing the TV Junkie Black List: While waiting for Spoon to go on the Tonight Show last night I had to endure Leno and guest Denis Leary talking about how they'd like to get cyclists off the roads and how they enjoy honking at them, etc. Both of these a-holes know* what went down recently in Beverly Hills as reported by LAist and the last thing LA needs is more SUV drivers feeling justified in mowing down anything else that isn't in an SUV. LAist knows people who not only recreate on bikes but are dependent upon them for transportation. Ignorant and uninformed opinions that put people in danger will not enjoy promotion by TV Junkie. Congrats to Denis Leary and Jay Leno, TV Junkie will not report on or list either of your programs or any other program you appear on from now through the end of the year. We'll reassess the situation after our New Years' hangover wears off.
9:00pm Countdown With Keith Olbermann MSNBC - After this week's Petraeus bullshit I gotta get some Keith.
9:00pm Code Monkeys G4 - A coupla new episodes in G4's pixelated series.
10:00pm Top Chef "Snacks on a Plane" BRAVO - The chefs join the mile-high meal club; guest judge Jimmy Canora.
11:00pm The Daily Show With Jon Stewart COMEDYCENTRAL - Guest Robert Draper, author of Dead Certain: The Presidency of George W. Bush
11:35pm Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Viggo Mortensen; Kat Von D; NASCAR stars present the Top 10 List; Daughtry performs.
12:35am Late Night With Conan O'Brien NBC - Stickfigure Mary-Kate Olsen; actor Wayne Brady; Lyle Lovett performs.
* While LAist.com doesn't conclusively know whether or not Leno and Leary have been following LAist's coverage of the Beverly Hills event we're making this assumption because, gosh darn it, Leno and Leary want us to feel like they are the kind of hipsters who are in the know about everything. Denis Leary aspouses and vents about everything because he knows about everything. Thanks for being a know-it-all Denis.
