Despite the happy exhaustion of a weekend well spent, LAist is here to cue up a list of tonight's events. We're all a little bit sad to be back after the long weekend, but here's hoping LAist can perk you up with the good times yet to be had. The recipe for a great night waits below.

Tonight at The Troubadour San Francisco's idiosyncratic pop sensation Deerhoof will be performing with 7 Year Rabbit Cycle, Fat Worm Of Error and Metalux. Doors open at 8:00 PM; admission is $8.00 advance.

Across town at Spaceland is Auf der Maur (the new band of former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf der Maur) sharing the stage with Mondo Generator and Yellow #5. Tickets are $10.00.

The Echo is hosting the CLUB DIY, featuring screenings of highlighted films from the DIY Film Fest: Punching Hitler, The Last Alchemist, Save Jesus, Tea Time, Flash, and the 2003 DIY Film Festival winner, Fandom.
