If you're heading out northbound out of Los Angeles County, take note. Caltrans will be closing two to three lanes for road repairs on the northbound I-5 Freeway between Vista Del Lago to Quail Lake Road tonight through Friday, from 5 p.m. to 11 a.m. There will be one or two lanes open and as always, the closures are weather-permitting and subject to change. 110 FREEWAY: Additionally, the Exposition Boulevard off-ramp from the southbound 110 Freeway will be closed beginning Wednesday morning at at 6 a.m., lasting through Monday, August 18, at 5 a.m.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
