Some poor little rat got trapped on an escalator on Tuesday and was forced to run for its life on a handrail-turned-treadmill while a crowd gathered to watch the spectacle. Bravely and mercifully, a woman came to the rescue to save the rat from its Sisyphean existence. It looks like this all went down at Hollywood and Highland.

Correction: Metro e-mailed us to say that it does not have glass panel escalators, so the rat in question was NOT going Metro. We apologize for the error.
