Tomorrow will mark the running of the 2nd Annual Pasadena Marathon.

Runners, walkers, and cyclists will take part in multiple event offerings in the streets of LA County's beautiful Rose City, which of course means a great opportunity to be outside and active and sharing an experience with the community, and also some road closures, detours, and parking restrictions.

Pasadena residents and those headed to the area should check the maps offered by the event organizers and the City of Pasadena to plan their day accordingly tomorrow.

Police will take control of the streets starting at 5:15 a.m. and they will re-open them "on a rolling basis based on a 17-minute per mile pace with a complete course re-opening by 3:00 p.m."

Parking is a no-go for the entire route starting at 1:00 a.m. and vehicles will be towed. "The Seco/Mountain on and off-ramps from the 210 Foothill Freeway (northbound and southbound) will be closed from 5:15 to 11:30 a.m. All other freeway ramps will remain open." Expect some re-routing and limited access to places like the Rose Bowl, Aquatic Center, Paseo Colorado, Caltech, and more. The Bike Tour starts at 6:15 am; Marathon & Half Marathon starts at 7:00 am; and the 5K, Fun Run/Walk starts at 7:30am.

Good luck to all participating!
