Street Closures for Sunday's Hollywood Christmas Parade

The annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, a local tradition for 80 years, takes to the streets Sunday evening. Though you may want to be one of the many in the crowd gathered to take in the spectacle, wave hello to Grand Marshall Larry King, spot the celebs passing by, and listen to some marching bands, you might also want to know what streets you won't have access to starting this evening and into tomorrow for the parade, which gets underway at 6 p.m.

The LAPD has released the following details regarding street closures:

Lanewood Avenue between La Brea Avenue & Orange Drive

Fountain Avenue between Highland Avenue & La Brea Avenue

Freeway Closures: Hollywood Freeway, HWY 101
Northbound and southbound off-ramps of Cahuenga Boulevard and Highland Avenue will all be closed at 3:00 p.m., reopening at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday 11/28


A great way to get to Hollywood for the parade is to take the Red Line to Hollywood & Highland. Metro has published information about bus routes affected by tomorrow's parade.
