Sometimes a Cigar Isn't Just a Cigar
Unfortunately for the Big Guy, he won't be able to have the California Chamber of Commerce or Wal-Mart officials over to the Capitol for a fat celebratory Cohiba. Seems the smoking tent he had built on the Capitol lawn was blocking a storm drain, which was not a problem as long as it didn't rain.
Of course, it does rain in Sacramento (you ain't in Brentwood anymore, Arnie), and on Sunday last the heavens opened and unleashed a torrential downpour, with predictable consequences.
The resulting flood, while hardly a cataclysm of Noachian proportions, was enough to soak several nearby state offices, causing unspecified damage to taxpayer property.
No worries, though. We're sure the Cigar Aficianado-in-Chief is unfazed. He'll just have a few of the state's plentiful minimum wage workers buy some mops from a Wal-Mart Supercenter and clean up his mess for him.
