Here's one weird thing that happened in Hollywood today: a man with a "crazy grin on his face" ran onto the 101 freeway and put cones in one of the middle lanes.Reports rolled in around 10 a.m. this morning that a man was putting cones randomly on the 101 Freeway in Hollywood. One witness, who was involved in a crash with KTLA's Nerissa Knight, told Knight that the man had a "crazy grin" and was putting the cones out to "cause accidents on purpose." That woman as well as several other motorists notified police.

CHP officers cleared the cones from the Freeway. A man in his 20s was taken into custody by officers near the Highland Avenue exit shortly after, but CHP has not yet confirmed if that arrest was related to the cones.
