Will Ferrell's departure from Saturday Night Live has been a little painful. That's why it's a delight to see him reprising his famed role as President George W. Bush in "White House West," a new meta-spot that features Ferrell/Bush attempting to film a campaign ad. It was paid for by America Coming Together, a Democratic fund that deals with the media and Get-Out-The-Vote operations.

The spot was directed by Adam McKay, an SNL director who collaborates with Ferrell regularly. According to IMDb, they're currently working on "Talladega Nights," which appears to be a send-up of NASCAR culture.
