The case of a man suspected in 11 sexual assaults in Southern California over the last decade has gone cold.

Police are asking for help finding a man who is suspected of at least 31 counts of sexual assault, robbery and kidnapping at day spas and massage parlors in Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, according to City News Service. Surveillance video, DNA evidence and witness descriptions have helped investigators tie together the cases that date back to 2003.

The suspect seems to have a routine. He has a "friendly face" and he's able to talk his way into the back rooms of day spas and massage parlors by asking for a drink or to use the restroom. Then he pulls a knife or gun on a female employee, corralling them and forcing them to disrobe. Then he sexually assaults and robs them. These incidents all happened in the middle of the day, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Some of his victims have been beat severely. In one case, he chased a 55-year-old woman down the hall, slammed her into a wall, breaking her collarbone. He also punched out five of her teeth, Riverside police Detective Aurelio Melendrez said.

Most of the businesses he's targeted have employees that are mostly female and foreign-born (either Hispanic or Asian), leading police to suspect that some of his attacks might not have been reported.

The attacks have happened in Chino Hills, Corona, Fontana, Gardena, Industry, Jurupa Valley, Montclair and Riverside. The reported incidents happened between 2003 and 2009, but authorities haven't found a DNA match among anyone arrested over the last 10 years. This leads authorities to believe that this suspect is able to somewhat compartmentalize his criminal behavior.

He's described as black or mixed race, 6 feet tall, between 240 and 260 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. He's believed to be in his 40's If you know anything about him, contact Melendrez at (951) 353-7119, or Detective Rita Cobb at (951) 353-7120.
