Senate Passes Budget

After more than 45 hours of debate -- the longest in history -- the state Sen. has passed a budget, reports John Myers. The package now heads to the Assembly, where the votes to approve the plan were already assured before a certain Republican voted to hold the state hostage. The Senate has now adjourned and the Assembly will vote on the passed resolutions, which includes 37 bills of tax increases and program cuts, etc.
