Authorities said that Rodney King's death last June was the result of an accidental drowning, but the alcohol, coke, pot and PCP found in his system contributed to his death.

No foul play is suspected in the case and Rialto Police told CNN that the police investigation into his death is closed. Their findings were consistent with the coroner's report that was released this morning.

King's fiance Cynthia Kelley found his body at the bottom of a pool in the early morning hours of June 17. She said that King woke her up around 5 am, banging on the door and naked. She said she later heard a splash and went outside to find him in the pool. Although King was an avid swimmer, she was not, so she called 9-1-1.

Kelley said that King had been drinking the day before, and later on the during the investigation cops confiscated marijuana plants from King's home.
