Randy Return?

ESPN's Peter Gammons reported last night on Baseball Tonight that the Dodgers may join Randy Johnson's trade list. The mere thought of Randy Johnson in Dodger Blue has LAist going ga-ga. Johnson would like to be a Yankee, but George Steinbrenner has traded away all of his prospects and he doesn't have a decent package to offer. Johnson would also like to be a Cardinal, but St. Louis reportedly does not want to take on his salary. Gammons said that Johnson is wary of waiving his no-trade clause for the struggling Angels, so that leaves the Dodgers as a viable option (if Arizona is willing to trade within the division).
People forget that Randy Johnson is actually an LA guy, having played college ball at USC. Doesn't that picture look crazy? Well, Randy, LAist says you can always come home again.
