Terminal 4 at LAX Evacuated for 17 Minutes
A suspicious item or items that turned out to be food items caused airport police at LAX to clear Terminal 4 this afternoon. The suspicious food items were first reported at 3:30 p.m. prompting LA World Airports Police to clear the terminal up to anything before the security area at 4:25 p.m. But by 4:42, all was back to normal. Today is the one of the busiest days in the 10-day travel period surrounding Thanksgiving. A passenger bridge collapsed earlier today, but there were no injuries.
