Santa Monica Police released composite sketches of three subjects wanted for questioning today stemming from a May homicide in the Pico neighborhood. Preston Brumfield, 48, was found lying on the sidewalk unconscious a few houses from his residence on May 11 after being shot and possibly beaten with a baseball bat. He was taken to the hospital where he died four days later, marking the city's third homicide of the year. The three men were seen in the area and are wanted for questioning.
