Let's hope it works this time. Rather than surprising millions of Angelenos, which really didn't work out last time, officials have announced streets closures for President Barack Obama's visit to Los Angeles on Friday.

The LAPD said the following streets "will be subject" to closures, both soft and hard, from late morning to mid-afternoon. Soft closures mean some cars will be screened to cross along with full pedestrian access. Hard closures mean no one can enter or cross the street. Additionally, all streets listed below will have a hard closure between 2:25 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
