A school official described as a "veteran prep football coach" and dean at the Los Angeles Unified School District's West Adams Preparatory High School has been arrested in conjunction with a child pornography case, according to LA Now.53-year-old Brad Ratcliff was taken into custody on February 2nd at his home, and the ensuing search of his home yielded evidence he was "in possession of numerous child pornography images and videos containing male victims," according to Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Officer Norma Eisenman. It is not believed that any of the individuals in the images are current or past students.

West Adams is one of the LAUSD's "partner" schools; it is operated by the MLA Partner Schools under the supervision of the District, who hired the school's employees.

Ratcliff was placed on administrative leave following his arrest. He was released on bail the same day as his arrest, but has not yet been charged in the case.
