Photos: 80 MPH Winds Knock Over Big Rigs Like Toys
Winds as strong as 80 mph have hit parts of Southern California, toppling over a dozen big rigs in the High Desert.
On Tuesday morning, as many as 15 big rigs were knocked over on Highway 58 near Mojave, according to KERO. Officials also report a few that were toppled on Highway 14. Although the California Highway Patrol closed both routes earlier this morning, both Highways 58 and 14 have since reopened, although are still closed to "high profile vehicles."
