This is a Christmas tradition we can get behind: a Los Angeles landlord is charging his tenants a little less rent for the month of December just in time for the holiday season.

A tenant in Los Angeles posted the letter that he got from his "good guy landlord" just a few days ago on Reddit. (h/t Huffington Post)

The letter says: "Please deduct $70 from your regular rent for the month of December and perhaps use those monies to purchase a gift for someone special in your life."

It sounds like the tenant who goes by mikeoley will be sticking with this rental for a while: "I live in Los Angeles. I have a better shot at banging Scarlett Johansson then [sic] buying a home."
