Driver Killed After Plowing Through Parked Big Rig In Pasadena
A driver died early Thursday after he crashed his car into a parked big rig before slamming into a building in Pasadena.
It's not clear at this point what caused the crash, but the driver lost control of his car around 3 a.m. on Fair Oaks Avenue, according to CBS Los Angeles. He was driving on the northbound lanes before he swerved into the southbound lanes and plowed into the big rig. The car was left completely smashed against the wall of a building.
Just moments before the crash, the big rig driver stepped out of the truck to unload some items and was just 10 feet away from the crash.
The driver was alone at the time, and didn't have any passengers, reported ABC7. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The big rig driver was not injured.
