Seven people were wounded when witnesses say a uninvited guest showed up and shot up a house party in Moreno Valley just after midnight on Sunday morning. The party was a moving-out party at a house slated for eviction on Heatherglen Road, according to those in attendance. There were up to 60 people on the premises, and the suspected shooter was turned away by guests before he opened fire.

"People were drunk and I guess the lady was saying it's time to go, so I guess he took that advantage and went to the car across the street, saw everybody was leaving, he just opened fire," one partygoer told ABC 7.

Witnesses described hearing a burst of automatic gunfire followed by 15 shots.

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies had actually showed up to the house just 45 before the shooting, warning them about the noise, according to the LA Times.
