While most were resting, a thieving couple went on a crime spree Sunday as cash, jewlery and a laptop were heisted from locals, CBS2 is reporting.

In broad daylight, the male suspect (between 5' 7" and 6 feet tall and thought to be between 25 and 35 years old) struck a liquor store clerk and then shot him in the knee as the female partner ( 5' 3", about 125 pounds and appeared to be about 25) directed those in the store.

Here are the crime scenes:

* Momo Clothing Store, 308 N. Stanley Ave., Hollywood, at 2:15 p.m. * Village Liquor Mart, 1859 N. Hillhurst Ave., Los Feliz, at 4:20 p.m.

* Street robbery, Burbank Boulevard and Louise Avenue in West Valley, at 5:30 p.m.

* Cigar House, 18458 Clark St., Tarzana, at 5:45 p.m.
