A 9-year old boy was killed in a hit-and-run, and two drivers have been arrested in connection.Jesse Rosales was crossing the street with his sister at Glassell Street and Wilson Avenue in Orange on Thursday night when two cars sped through the red light and hit him around 9:30 p.m. The two drivers continued down Glassell Street and crashed into each other at Taft Avenue, where police then arrested both drivers on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run causing great bodily harm.

Jesse was taken to a hospital where he later died, while his sister was unhurt. "Fortunately she wasn’t injured," Lieutenant Fred Lopez of the Orange Police department told the L.A. Times. "It's very unfortunate, she got to witness her brother get killed."

The O.C. Register identifies the two drivers as 51-year old Jerro Roderick and 26-year old Miguel Villa Gomez, and authorities think Roderick hit Jesse, but also suspect Roderick may have hit him as well.

A witness told ABC 7 that the car that hit Jesse was racing with another car.
