Roll out the red carpet, set up the velvet ropes, and open up your reusable grocery tote, Hollywood-ites! Friday May 21 was opening day for the much-anticipated Trader Joe's in Hollywood on Vine Street.

Looks like Montrose may be next, much to the ongoing chagrin of Downtowners, who have long lobbied for the South Pasadena-based grocer to set up shop in their neck of the woods.

Here's a look inside the tinseltown-themed store, located in the W Hotel building at Vine and Selma, on its opening day.

PS You can park your car underground, but good luck finding a place to park your bicycle.
