The first blog I ever had was called "the busblog" because it was the stories of a single man in LA commuting to work on the subway and busses and trying to get laid without a car.

The blog became pretty successful and I was invited to speak places and be on panels and because the disclaimer of the blog said "nothing in here is true" several people would either approach me or email me and ask if it was true that LA really had a subway.

This struck me as odd because like LAist, every post on the busblog had at least one photo and not only did I take many pictures of the Red Line, but I even had some very short films of riding in the subway.
