The visual effects producer who disappeared before Thanksgiving has been found. On Friday just before 2 p.m., the LAPD released a statement, saying, "Detectives from the Missing Persons Unit reviewed information provided to them and have determined that Mr. Eric Kohler is currently in the city of La Paz, Mexico, and is no longer considered a missing person."

On Thursday, the Huffington Post posted two photos taken on Wednesday by La Paz resident Carlos Ivan Baez Navarro that purportedly showed Kohler. In the pictures, Kohler is apparently posing with two women and a dog. Navarro said he recognized Kohler from the news and told Huffington Post that Kohler acknowledged his identity, but said, "I do not want to be found."

The 27-year-old was last seen in Southern California leaving his workplace at Vitality VFX in Gardena on Nov. 24. He was driving his new Range Rover, but left behind his wallet, laptop, and other personal belongings.

Kohler's credits include X-Men, The Avengers and World War Z.
