LAist only exists with your help.
Full transparency: Although we’ve experienced a huge growth in readership, not nearly enough of our readers have stepped up to support our non-profit model. Please take a moment right now during our spring member drive to keep LAist strong.

Los Angeles is the home of arts and entertainment. My job is to help you figure out what is worth your time and introduce you to other talented Angelenos who make it happen. This is a space for the creative work you care about -- or don't know about yet.

As a journalist, I've covered everything from school shootings and fires to politics, but my heart's always been with arts and entertainment. I've been nominated for L.A. Press Club and National Arts & Entertainment Journalism awards for my entertainment coverage, along with other awards as part of the digital team and other collaborations.

Outside of LAist/KPCC, I write screenplays with my wife/writing partner, Kristiana. I've also been on house sketch comedy teams at the Pack Theater and iO West, along with performing improv around the city.

I'm passionate about what I cover, and I love telling stories with your help. Have a question you want me to answer? Ask me below.
