Meat Loaf + Kimmel + Halloween Contest = VIPs!

This story is free to read because readers choose to support LAist. If you find value in independent local reporting, make a donation to power our newsroom today.

This weekend everyone's gonna get dressed up and rage. We're totally down with that.

We're so down that we have hooked up VIP passes to the Halloween Night taping of the Jimmy Kimmel Show with special guest Meat Loaf, who will be performing from the new Bat Out of Hell III, which will be released that day.

A pair of tickets will be given to the two best costumed LAist readers.

Here's what you do: 1) get dressed 2) take pictures 3) upload those pics somewhere (like Flickr or Buzznet), 4) copy and paste the url where the picture(s) resides in the comments of this post

Deadline Sunday 10/29 at 8pm. Winners announced 10/30. Show 10/31. When posting in the comments remember that no one can see your email address except us (and Satan), so make sure its accurate as we will be emailing the winners on Sunday night.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
