Map: Motorcycle Ride From W. Valley to Hollywood Today May Cause Traffic Troubles
This morning marks the West Valley’s 3rd Annual Motorcycle Memorial Ride, which will involve an estimated 400+ motorcycles under police escort traveling along an approximately 56-mile route from Reseda to Hollywood via the canyons and PCH.
"The organizer’s of this event want to alert the communities that will be affected by the large number of motorcycles going through their neighborhoods," explain the LAPD in a release issued this morning.
Starting at the West Valley Community Police Station, the ride will travel south on Tampa to the 101, the 101 west/north to Las Virgenes, Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon south to PCH, PCH east to the 10 Freeway, 10 Freeway east to the 405 north, 405 north to the 101 east/south, the 101 east/south into Hollywood via Gower, ending at Paramount Studios. (A full list of turns after the jump.) The ride begins at 10:25 a.m. and the last rider is expected to enter Paramount at Noon.
