PCH traffic hit a standstill on Tuesday afternoon as a man driving a red Tesla stopped his car in the road and stripped off all of his clothing.

The man popped in and out of the sunroof of his car, tossing articles of clothing off, around 3 p.m. near Entrada Drive in front of Patrick's Roadhouse, according to the Palisadian-Post. He was wildly moving his arms as authorities tried to get him to stop. At one point he got on top of his Tesla. It took authorities about half an hour to get him down before they took him to a hospital.

Capt. Scott of Pacific Palisades Fire Station 69 told the Palisadian-Post that the man had a possible "meltdown or psychiatric episode or was on a controlled substance."
