A man described as about 30 years old with straight, slicked back black hair has been riding his bike up to women in the Santa Monica area and groping them, reports NBC Los Angeles.

The so-called "ride-by groper" has assaulted at least six women since January. He's doing his dirty deeds on a mountain bike, upon which he promptly flees the scene.

The victim's ages range from 16 to 57, reports Santa Monica Patch, adding that a statement from the Santa Monica Police Department reads that, "All of the incidents have been in close proximity to one another, and the suspect description in each incident is of a similar nature."

Three of the attacks took place on Broadway, two on Stanford Street and one on Franklin Street. The majority of them happened in January and February, but one happened as recently as April.
