Man Fatally Shot Outside of Hollywood 'Pretty Woman' Hotel

A man was shot and killed in Hollywood early this morning outside of the Las Palmas Hotel. Officers found the victim on the street after they heard gunshots around 2 a.m., City News Service reports. The 20-something victim had been shot once in the chest. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The hotel is located on the 1700 block of Las Palmas, near Hollywood Blvd. and Highland Ave. This $40/night hotel boasts being the location of the final fire escape scene in Pretty Woman:
