Losing Weight -- LA Style?

Scanning the classifieds of the January Los Angeles Magazine recently (the restaurant issue, not the Clooney cover), LAist came across an interesting ad for a 6-week body makeover developed by a guy from ABC's Extreme Makeover. Here's a snippet from the ad copy found on page 180:
"Natalya went from a size 6 to a size 2 in just 2 weeks with Michael Thurmond's program."
We know that there's a serious obesity epidemic in America, and that's why we pay our dues in sweat at the gym every few days. But sorry, Natalya, unless you're a little person--and from your photo in the magazine, you don't look like one--we're not cheering for you like we do those folks on NBC's The Biggest Loser.
A size 2? Some of us would be ecstatic as a 6. And we, unlike some of young Hollywood, like eating more than a celery stalk with a carrot stick on the side for dinner.
