I'm Thankful For...
Thirteen years, five months and eleven days of LA-based thankfulness starts and ends with every exquisite friend I've been lucky enough to have. Also I am thankful for the following incredibles:
Number one - The chicken car. I am thankful to have ever prowled the same streets as this beast.
Dos - I am thankful to have had the privilege of standing on the stage of the Hollywood Bowl.
C) - I am thankful that "Screenwriter's Blues" by Soul Coughing means something to me.
4. Delivery Lasagna from Tomato Pie, Grilled Cheese Month at Clementine, Chilaquiles from LOCAL, Little John's Dark Chocolate Covered Pistachio Marzipan. For these things I am truly thankful.
Five - The Zeiss in Griffith Park, I am thankful to look through it and see outer space.
VI - Similar in star power, I am thankful to have seen Bruce Springsteen open the Staples Center.
[10-3] - La Brea Tar Pits. I am endlessly thankful for the pungent perspective on time, for the reminder that nature always wins, and for the paradox of impermanence preserved.
